Katimavik is a national youth volunteer organization that allows young people aged 17-21 to come from across Canada to a new community to live together and do volunteer work at non-profit organizations throughout the community, gaining valuable life and work experience in the process. Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome.
For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
