Host a Katimavik Volunteer!

Katimavik is a national youth volunteer organization that allows young people aged 17-21 to come from across Canada to a new community to live together and do volunteer work at non-profit organizations throughout the community, gaining valuable life and work experience in the process. Although the group of volunteers lives together for the six months that they are in Vancouver, they billet with host families for 9 days, allowing them to make lasting connections in the community and for an immersion experience of the culture in Vancouver.

The East Vancouver Katimavik group is looking for host families from

March 2 – March 11!

Becoming a host family is an incredible opportunity to meet active and engaged youth from across the country and to make a lasting and meaningful impact in their lives!

The group has been focusing on Eco-Citizenship and Active Living and has been working for and learning about environmental iniatives around Vancouver!
