Community Potlucks – A monthly potluck hosted by VV and West End Neighbourhood Food Network. A family friendly gathering where you share some good food and conversation with community members. At the gathering, pick up a copy of the West End Urban Garden Calendar, pick some seeds up at the seed library, and join a mini workshop or discussion on food/gardening related topics.
Vancouver Permaculture Monthly Meet Up – We gather a few times a year to meet up, share some yummy food, skills and good conversations. The event starts with a potluck and is usually followed by a topic of discussion or short workshop. Hosted by VV and Westside Neighbourhood Food Network. Join the group on Meetup, or register for a spot on the Van Rec website.
West End Urban Garden Club Holiday Celebration - The first Sunday in December.

Neighbour Savour - Ran for 10 years at Heritage Hall. Sometimes included live music, community booths, free seeds.
Neighbour Savour West - Hosted by Village Vancouver and Westside Neighbourhood Food Network at the Kits Neighbourhood House. A free, family-friendly, zero-waste community potluck! It was an opportunity to bring food to share for 6-8 people, meet your neighbours and hang out! Community seed library were present, and could have been picked, swapped, or donated up some free seeds for/from your garden.
Drop in "Spaghetti" Nights - We held over 40 DISNs where neighbours cooking meals for other neighbours across Vancouver. No nights are currently scheduled, but get in touch if you'd like to hold/see one in your neighbourhood.
Dinner Groups - Kits Village hosted monthly dinner groups, where neighbours took turns cooking for other members of the group.
We’ve hosted other community potlucks in many different neighbourhoods/villages over the years including:
Permaculture Vancouver Eastside Potlucks - We ran PV potlucks (at Strathcona Park Fieldhouse and elsewhere) for several years.
Main Street and Kitsilano villages ran monthly potlucks for several years.
Our Salon d’Elan discussion group ran potlucks in the early days of Village Vancouver.
