- There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)
- I am very interested in helping out with the community currency team, the filming of events (I wouldn't say that i am an experiance videographer, but i would love to help out), events promotion, and the Kits CarFree day.
- What would you like to see improved in Vancouver or in your community regarding sustainability or resiliency? Do you have an idea for a new Transition project or activity?
- More gardening/greenspace (eg. downtown rooftop gardening), more affordable transit, increased urban animal husbandry.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome.
For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.

Welcome to VV & Kits Village.
Great that you want to get involved w/Kits Car Free Day. This is our 4th year and we're putting together a good team & I'll introduce you to them later this week.
