Event Description

Sprouts are one of the most concentrated sources of nutrients on Earth. They can be grown in any climate, at any time of the year, in a limited space, for cent per liters. Registered Nutritional Practitioner and Chartered Herbalist Nikoo Boroumond will show you how to grow your own sprouts at home with no special equipment. Bring a jar if you want to take some stuff home to start right away.

The Marpole NFN seed library will be present; bring some seeds to swap, if you'd like.

Workshop to take place at temporary location of Marpole Place NH: 8680 Hudson Street at St. Augustine's Church Hall.

To register: RSVP here, or phone Marpole Place NH (604.266.5301) Monday to Friday 1 - 4pm, or to ed.marpoleplacenh@gmail.com or ross.MNFN@villagevancouver.ca. 15 folks are registered - we have room for a few more.

Marpole Neighbourhood Food Network is sponsored by Marpole Place Neighbourhood House and Village Vancouver. To join MNFN: http://www.villagevancouver.ca/group/marpole-neighbourhood-food-network
