Come join other BC organizers for change for this exciting two day event & help to refine our commitment to building healthy & vibrant futures for all communities.
We need (& want) your deep engagement in the issues & opportunities of how we can re-localise our economies to create enabling environments for more community economic development to happen.
Join us! There’s something for everyone…including a Transition Town workshop.
Ø March 3rd for a Community Tour, Networking Evening and the Vancouver Premiere of “The Economics of Happiness” film
Ø March 4th for a day of engagement, learning and exploring at W2 Storyeum.
Ø March 3rd for a Networking Evening at Plan B Brewery
Ø March 4th for a day of connections & exploration at Nadina Community Futures.
In Haida Gwaii, Prince Rupert or Terrace
Ø March 3rd we will be connecting to the events in Vancouver and Smithers at your local Community Futures video-conferencing site.
If you’re interested in traveling to Vancouver for the larger event, there are limited subsidies available for up to $500 for travel and accommodation. Please email BLCCsubsidies@tradeworks.bc.ca for more details.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome.
