Village Vancouver

Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

Our coop is 90% complete.  We'd like to get 4 good brown egg layers.  They don't have to be fancy ladies...just in good health.  Where would you all recommend getting them from?  We are open to adoption as well.

Hi Julia,

No we do not. But we have decided that we need to do some renovations on this house, so it would be wiser to wait till September when we should be presumably finished and have more peacefull yard for the chickens to live in...

I guess, we  can check then, if there are any chickens available. If we can't find any, we will just wait till next spring. Such is life:)

Hi Julia

Would you know of a place or some one that I could get some Pure Bred Barred Rock fertilized eggs?

Thanks in advance

Ralph
