- There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)
- In my neighbourhood / spredding seeds of knowledge about the importance of growing own food, especially at kids level.
- What would you like to see improved in Vancouver or in your community regarding sustainability or resiliency? Do you have an idea for a new Transition project or activity?

- I have received the Vancouver Village newsletter since last year, and I find it interesting and helphul to solve or aliviate the future problem in our communities, since we can not solve the global desaster. I believe that small things can build big things. Food is one of the major factors of the future desaster.
I still have a full time job so my time is very limited but I will try my best.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome.
For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.

Hi Luz,
Welcome to Village Vancouver. We have lots of members in Fairview, but no village there yet, so I'll dend you an invite to join Kits Village. (You could also choose to join Main Stree Neighbourhood village if that's closer to you.) We're have a potluck tonight, if this is of interest to you. (And Main Street's having one on Tuesday.)
