- I got to know about Village Vancouver from Autumn Shift Festival
at Main street. I like the idea of potlucks, getting involved in your community/ neighborhood and to know your neighbors and to help each other out like the good old days.
- There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome.
For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.

A P.S. Pia, who just RSVPed, has a 10 year (Hart), who she usually brings, and Karen, who may also be coming, has a 5 year old, who she always brings.Hi Rasha,
We have kids at our gatherings all the time.
For the visioning, we don't have anything specifically planned for kids (besides the potluck part), but if you want to bring games or other stuff, there is room for them to hang out. And we'd actually also like to hear from kids what they'd like to see in their community!
