- Growing my own food in a community garden, canning, transporation issues, civil society, what it takes to build social captial, community-building, definately having fun while saving the world.
- There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)

- Reclaiming residential streets for the community, getting neighbours to connect more. I am interested in helping to start a community garden in Capitol Hill neighbourhood.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome.
For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.

Cool. So I think we've met on occasion. Paul and I used to work on Climate Change Cafe's together, and Ady lives 1/2 a block away from me.
