- There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. hello kyle,
me, too, i like composting. every week i transport my compostable material from my vancouver apartment to our small farm and compost it there. it works well for us, but i am sure that other apartment dwellers would benefit from a system for apartments.
at the maple street demostration garden, they have all kinds of composters to look at.
last winter, we built a few indoor worm composters out of green plastic storage boxes. they produced some good soil.
