And Urban Homesteading and seed diversity and basically I want to turn the land around my haus into a food forest and then share the food and seeds with the people in my community
- There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)
- I don't know much about your projects yet, but I'm really outgoing and great at public speaking, and I'm good with physical labour and enthusiasm. I don't have a car or anything, and I don't have the most free time in the world, but I'd love to help with events or community gardening or anything like that.
- What would you like to see improved in Vancouver or in your community regarding sustainability or resiliency? Do you have an idea for a new Transition project or activity?
- I would love to see more food! For the people! Fresh and healthy. I'd also love to learn more about sustainable community planning and help make that reality

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome.
For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.

Great! I noticed you're going to Seed Saturday tomorrow morning. I'll be there as well. Do you want to chat briefly beforehand? I'm meeting someone there at 10:45; would 10:30 work for you? If not, we can figure out another time soon.
P.S. Are you applying for a neighbourhood small grant for anything? (See NSG's on Vancouver Foundation website.) Deadlines' Monday, but they're super easy to do - take about 30-45 minutes.
