Building on the last two year’s outdoor garden project, Aberthau Garden Project in 2015-17 will be partnering with Village Vancouver, local artists, community members and the WPG Preschool here to grow food based crops and fibre together. Free workshops open to all ages will be offered, please check the VV website for updates. For info on the previous years Flax –food -Fibre projects go to www.Aberthauflaxfibrefood.blogspot.ca/

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome. 

For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
