Kits Car Free Day (June 19) Block Parties meeting

This is our 4th year organizing Kits block parties on Car Free Day (June 19th). Meeting this Tuesday at 4 pm. New people welcome, please RSVP on event listing for location.

Agenda:

a. promotion- media, community  events, talking it up, maybe neighbourhood group lists, maybe  hitting the street and telling people about it, coming up with other   ideas

b. communicate with the Car Free Vancouver lead group and organizer.

c. communicate with the city of Vancouver as necessary  d. keep up the website- update,  improve if possible, monitor and respond to emails to our group

e. communicate with hosts and potential hosts- answer questions, provide direction

f. accept and review completed block party applications, communicate with hosts as needed

g. make arrangements for barricades and barricade transportation for actual event

h. follow up event- ask for photos to add to website, ask for feedback on event etc.
