Event Description
Hands on beekeeping workshop, beginner beekeepers welcome, all equipment provided. Participants must wear closed toed shoes, light colours and long sleeves are recommended. Honey bee biology, communication, lifecycle and management: how the super-organism of the colony works. Outdoors at the DCC Apiary with Master Beekeeper, Julia Commons, from Hives for Humanity.
