Event Description

It gets harder and harder to stretch a food dollar, especially when we want to keep our nutrient levels high. In this class, we’ll take a look at micro growing, gleaning, nutrient dense foods, bulk buying, and other tricks for getting the most value for our dollar.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome. 

For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
