Event Description

Getting the most out of a normal urban garden can take imagination. This class assists us to boost production through a deeper understanding of microclimating, and of lateral growing, food cycles, succession planting, "shoulder cropping" and much more.

Suggested donation $40. No one turned away.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome. 

For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
