Celebrate a 2nd annual compassionate, vegan Thanksgiving this year with the Animal Voices radio crew and supporters by partaking in this feast of thanks and bounty. Build community and share delicious nourishment with like-minded people. All are welcome to attend!
TO BRING:
- a VEGAN dish to share (free of any animal bits, including dairy, eggs, honey, gelatin, whey and casein) -- enough to serve at least 8 people
- SERVING UTENSIL for your dish
- PLATE, CUP, & CUTLERY
- friends & family (we can accomodate 150 guests at this family-friendly event!)
- $5 cash for entry and extra $ for the amazing raffle
- your talent?? (see below)
If you’re not a cook or are pressed for time, no worries! Store-bought food is perfectly acceptable, as is bringing along a non-alcoholic beverage to share (ie. juice, non-dairy milk, coconut water). Please bring an ingredients list for your dish!

This year we are also hosting a VARIETY SHOW during the dinner, showcasing the entertaining talents of our guests! So if you sing, dance, play an instrument, tell jokes, or perform magic tricks, and would like to perform at the show, please get in touch to sign-up!

There will also be a RAFFLE fundraiser with loads of great vegan & animal-friendly prizes up for grabs!
TICKETS are $5 at the door for this fundraising event. Profits will go towards supporting Animal Voices, part of Vancouver Co-operative Radio, a not-for-profit organization. Animal Voices Vancouver is a weekly radio show airing every Friday at noon on 100.5fm CFRO, Vancouver Co-operative Radio, reporting on and delving into animal advocacy and compassionate living.
The venue is wheelchair accessible (just notify one of the event volunteers, when you arrive, that you will need access to the chair lift).
Gracious thanks to our event co-sponsors, Vancouver Meatless Meet-up and STOP UBC Animal Research.
