In five years, the Transition Town movement has spread around the world, and in three years, Village Vancouver Transition Initiative has attracted thousands of members locally. Learn why these unique, powerful, solution oriented efforts, which focus on connecting-people-in-community, have grown so quickly and how you can participate.
Part of a series of talks at WE CANada Canada Day Sustainability Celebration. Also music, cake, booths (including Village), and more.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome.
