Come learn how to make your own fermented vegetables (kim chee, traditional sauerkraut, and a seasonal specialty: Solstice Slaw!). This is a raw food process. Fermented vegetables have many health benefits, including live enzymes, readily available vitamins and minerals, and probiotics!
All supplies, including seasonal local, organic, vegetables, will be provided free of charge. If you are able, bring the following:
-Sharp knives, cutting board, large bowls
-WIDE-MOUTH canning jars
-Vegetables (Suitable vegetables include Asian greens/mustards, choi, carrots, beets, onions, garlic, etc.)
