Event Description

Known for their work re-envisioning Vancouver park space, LocoMotoArt will provide experiences for the curious minded that pull the imagination in various directions. The exhibition combines an indoor exhibition of imaginary beings and creatures (drawings, short videos, images on digital frames and/or flat screens) from 5-10 pm, and outdoor projections and sound art works, including recorded soundscapes from 8:30-10 pm on the theme of Spirits, People, Animals, Creatures and Echoes (S.P.A.C.E.).

Participating artists include Dave Leith, Rob Scharein, Laura Lee Coles and guest artists Susi Milne and Avril Orloff.

Sponsored by Vancouver Park BoardArtsCulture and Engagement and hosted by Village Vancouver, participants will enjoy digital installations, 3-D sculpture, drawings, and soundscapes. The event is FREE and open to all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult.
