Event Description

Learn to make kimchi: a traditional fermented Korean side dish. Probiotic, raw, and Paleo-friendly.Vegan option available. You will be fully active in creating the fermentation (wear clothes you don'tmind preparing food in), and take home a jar customized to your level of spice-tolerance. Bring any of the following items that you can: cutting board, large knife, kitchen scissors, large bowl or tub, 500mL wide-mouth jar and lid.

Register #37007: Strathcona Community Centre 604.713.1838 or Kimchi (https://ca.apm.activecommunities.com/vancouver/Activity_Search/kimchi/32006) or in person. Registration is "pay what you can" with a suggested fee of $20, including materials. If not paying the suggested fee, please register over the phone or in person. Register by Mar 21.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome.
