We're having another movie night on Thursday (tomorrow!) in the Fireside Lounge at St. Philips Church (3737 West 27th Ave). (2nd Thursday of each month)
We'll be showing "Food Inc." This film was a 2010 Academy Award Nominee for Best Documentary Feature and has received a tremendous amount of critical acclaim worldwide. Featuring interviews with such experts as Eric Schlosser ("Fast Food Nation"), Michael Pollan ("The Omnivore's Dilemma") along with forward thinking social entrepreneurs like Stonyfield Farms' Gary Hirschberg and Polyface Farms' Joel Salatin, Food, Inc. reveals surprising — and often shocking truths — about what we eat, how it's produced, who we have become as a nation and where we are going from here. If you eat food.... you need to see this film.
Tea and snacks served. See you then!
Previously screened: In Transition, Good Food Movie
