Event Description

David Beers hosts four evening events at The Museum of Vancouver as part of their fall exhibit, Home Grown: Local Sustainable Food, co-presented by FarmFolkCityFolk. The Museum of Vancouver's Food and Beers events are sponsored by the Tides Canada Foundation.

This conversation will bring together a panel of local food gurus --– from growers to chefs to manufacturers --– to discuss what Vancouver needs to do to create and maintain a viable local food industry.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome. 

For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
