We are now happily in the chicken world too! Yesterday, Leon (another member here) brought us 7 baby chicks from Heidi Shuster of Greendale Heritage Farm in Chilliwack. Thanks for the driving, Leon!
Heidi just e-mailed me saying that she will be hatching more chicks (heritage breeds) on June 3rd, if anyone is interested. Her prices are really reasonable (we paid $7.50 per unsexed vaccinated chick) and she does such a great job with the chicks. Leon said, that it's quite the set-up she has out there in Chilliwack:)
