Fund Raiser?
What do you guys think about hosting a fundraiser for the new chicken shelter at the SPCA? My neighbour Robert (who I hope will be joining us here soon) suggested it and I think its a great idea. We had a very successful yard sale/open coop here on Saturday. Maybe we could do it again on a larger scale? We have plenty of room to set up a giant yard sale and people could bring some chickens over to show off and raise awareness. If there are at least a few others interested, I'll contact the SPCA and see what they think.

I think the shelter is to be located at the Vancouver Pound and not the SPCA?

You're right. I assumed that it was run by the SPCA but evidently not. Hopefully they'd still be willing to take our money.
