Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

I'm looking to do some building with Cob and am currently looking to see
if anyone has some Straw for sale.  I'd be interested in getting in on
any upcoming orders anyone has.

Let me know,

Chris

I believe roots and wings montessori school has some on for $5 a bale right now.
Chris - I'd love to check out the cob building process (without paying crazy "tuition" for a Gulf Islands work retreat!). If you're doing this on a weekend and wouldn't mind some kibitzing and a little help some weekend, let me know. 604-251-0996

I don't have any straw but I might be able to hook you up with some clay. Would be happy to come give you a hand with your project if the timing works. We did a natural building course last month.
Some urban farmers had brought in some hay for a project and they have some left over, $5 a bail
I don't know much about it but if your interested their number is 604-728-5501
Thanks guys for the information. I'm going to follow up on the straw/clay leads. I'll also be contacting all those that mentioned they were interested in helping. Should be within the next week. Am around broadway and main.
