Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
Greenest City Neighbourhood Small Grants: Urban Food Projects.
The deadline is Aug 21th for Little Mountain and Mount Pleasant, (and possibly Renfrew Collingwood but I have not been able to confirm that).
Main Street and to advertise the dinner widely in our community. I will likely
be applying for a grant related to Backyard beekeeping. Holding a canning
workshop, was another idea. If anyone wants to meet to brainstorm ideas or to
be involved in any of the aforementioned ideas please let me know. I was told
by the director at Mount Pleasant that projects are more likely to be funded if
they involve a number of people from the neighbourhood. The application form is the same form used
for the small community grants last April:
Name of Applicant
Address, postal code, phone, email
Describe your project:
How will this project enhance your neighbourhood?
How many people will help organize this project?
How much grant money will you need?
How I plan to spend the grant money
