Chicken-friendly housing

Hi everyone,
I am thinking of moving some time in the next few months... can you please keep me in mind for any places that you know of or hear of that would be amenable to chickens?

Prefer Grandview-Woodland or Hastings-Sunrise neighborhoods. A ground-floor suite would be preferable. A yard is a necessity.

1BR+, 4 hens and one cat. Would consider a room-mate for a place with more than one bedroom.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome. 

For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
