Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
Hi everyone! I was wondering if we could get a group of beekeepers together for the GE Free BC rally this Wednesday September 18th. Municipalities will be voting on whether to ask the provincial government to legislate BC as a GE/GMO free area. It would be great if we could make some "beekeepers in support of a GE Free BC" signs and to show support against the threat that genetically modified crops pose to bees. The rally (this Wednesday Sept 18th) is from 7am-10am outside the Union of BC Municipalities Convention at the Vancouver Convention Centre (1055 Canada Place). If you'd like to join me, reply to this thread or send me a message and we can arrange to meet up there!
