Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

This little store has books, Westcoast Seeds, music playing all the time, and organic edible plants. Somehow in the middle of all that it's a flower shop so you can give a posie to your sweetie, as well.
Everything in there is healthy as well as beautiful.
It's on Lonsdale at 19th St., pretty close to Lion's Gate Hospital.
I wanted a gift for a radical urban farmer friend of mine, and the guidebook recommended by Ruth, the owner, was a real hit! There are colour photos of all the plants, so he can take it hiking and know what he's looking at, in the moment.
