Canadian Gov't is listening to Pesticide Lobbyists. Urgent Action Required

Dear Friends,

The Canadian government is considering a nationwide ban on one of the most deadly bee-killing chemicals in the world! Canada's Ministry of Health is taking public comments before it makes its final decision in three weeks. The pesticide industry has promised to fight hard to stop it -- so we need to add our voices now.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome. 

For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
