Event Description
Axé Capoeira will be hosting an Afro-Brazilian Block Party on Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29, 2012 on Granville Street. This year will mark the 30th anniversary of our group and will also showcase a Capoeira competition and a Batizado ceremony. The event is expected to draw thousands of people for a full day of performances including traditional dance, music and Capoeira culminating in a huge Brazilian street party not to be missed!
