This summer workshop aims at giving the beginner the ability to identify some common edible and medicinal plants growing in Vancouver neighborhoods. It will highlight how foraging in the city is connected to many other community initiatives and it is part of a greater vision of sustainable living. Foraging the city is the best way to get grounded in your neighborhood by getting to know your neighbors whether they are plant, mineral, animal or human.
