Event Description

Learn tips and tricks of the trade that lead to a bountiful and healthy harvest of organic vegetables. This course will emphasize how to actively prevent pest and disease problems by providing the proper growing conditions for your plants, attracting beneficial insects to your garden, and monitoring potential problems.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome. 

For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
