Event Description
This intensive, hands on workshop will take participants through the process of establishing a productive food garden including site selection, layout, soil and bed preparation, crop planning, planting, crop rotation, irrigation, required tools/equipment and maintenance. From backyards, front yards, to small balconies, we will send you home with a plan and the knowledge for success. It also includes an introduction to weeds and pests. Please bring a bagged lunch. tea, coffee and water provided. Cost: $52. Please call (604) 266-1397 to register.
