Seed Starting Workshop  Feb 26th at 10:30, Seed Exchange 11:30-12

When: Feb 26 @ 10:30 am

Where: MOBY garden 1735 East 11th Ave

What: Learn to start from Seed. Get that tomato plant for pennies instead of $3.00+ at the garden center. Learn what is best to direct seed or start indoors. Tina was raised on a hobby farm in Ontario and has been a member of MOBY garden for 7 years... Tina has good practical advice.

The seed exchange will happen from 1130-noon.  

Cylia from the Cedar Cottage Seed Saving Collective will be on site to ask about seedsaving.

Fee: Suggested donation $5.  All are welcome.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome. 

For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
