Scottish Ceilidh dancing is like square dancing with Scottish music. Usually around 80-100 people, aged 8-80, of all ethnicities, come to the monthly Ceilidhs. The cost is $10 and includes instructional time from 7-8 and party time from 8-11. Even during the second part of the evening, all dances are explained so that no one gets left behind. You can usually hear laughter all night long. Ceilidh dancing is a great workout, but you can sit and watch if you get tired. Refreshments are by donation.
Village engages individuals, neighbourhoods & organizations to take actions that build sustainable communities & have fun doing it. Join us!
