Thursday, May 26 @ 3-5pm
Queen Alexandra Elementary School Garden
1300 E Broadway
Join Queen Alexandra Elementary and Mount Pleasant Food Network for a Garden Project Kickoff! Every Thursday starting May 26 until October, we'll be gathering for work parties to help take care of the garden together. This project is supported by an Evergreen Learning Grounds Grant and Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House.
Grow healthy food to take home, make friends, and learn about native foods and plants from different cultures! We'll also be hosting harvest celebrations in August and October, with native plant workshops by Lori Snyder.
Everyone is welcome! Snacks will be provided.
Please contact Joey at jliu@mpnh.org to register or learn more details.
Check out the Mount Pleasant Food Network blog for info, resources and stories about food in Mount Pleasant.
