Pollinator Zone Markers are hanging in areas identified as supportive of pollinators through plantings or nearby managed hives. Markers are made with locally grown linen, dyed with pollinator plants with wax provided by local DTES bees, and made by community members. Walk the path of the knit markers along Hastings Street between Main and Abbott. Find out about our Bee Heroes, visit street gardens and learn where the rooftop hives are kept.
Walking tour ends at Hastings Farm for herbal tea, song and dance in celebration of the conclusion of the Urban Cloth Project. Join us for a presentation by Mirae Rosner and Rebecca Duncan and tour the plants in the garden.
