Potluck:Bring something yummy for the potluck.
Workshop (7-8pm) – Solar Cooking: Ever wonder just how hot the sun really is? Hot enough to cook an egg, or some brownies? Come find out how a simple solar cooker, one you make yourself, can be your lowest carbon, post-peak-oil means of preparing food.
GMO Food? Maybe not! Consider signing a petition that will be available the potluck.
Canning & Seed Exchange. We're doing this monthly! Bring something you've canned, seeds you've saved or food you've grown and exchange it with others!
Main St. Seed Library: If you have any extra seeds you'd like to donate to the library please bring them by to share or take a few seeds home for your garden.
What: Main St. VV & LMNH Potluck & Workshop: Solar Cooking
When: Tuesday, July 2nd: 6-8pm
Why: Build community, eat good food and learn to start veggies from seed.
