La Salsiccia - Artisan Italian Sausages Workshop

Learn to craft your own locally sourced la salsiccia, artisan Italian sausages by hand. We will be using local pork, raised humanely, the old fashioned way. With the chef's at FoodWisdom we'll grind and season the meat with home grown herbs, prepare the (natural) casings, and stuff the links together. If you can resist cooking and eating your lovely links on the spot, you’ll have some salsiccia to take home for breakfast.

Foodwisdom is a family run social enterprise that delivers food literacy programs in schools and the community at large. It was launched in response to the statistic that today’s generation of kids is the first generation at risk of living shorter life spans than their parents, largely due to diets featuring low-dense, high-sugar and processed foods.
