This course will take place in VanDusen’s vegetable garden, giving participants a living window of knowledge into a food garden. Claire will use garden examples to discuss: which pests and diseases are a concern and how they are dealt with organically, harvest techniques and timing, good companions in the garden, and which plants are doing double duty as a pollinator, beneficial insect attractant, natural pest repellant, or soil improver. Learn great ideas, solutions, and how to implement them in your own garden.
Instructor: Claire Smith
VanDusen Member: $28 / Non-Member: $35
