Event Description
Creativity multiplies when people get together!
Create a crafting community and benefit from the
sharing of skills and stories with other hands‐on 'DIY'
folks. Participants will have a chance to network with
other like‐minded individuals sharing an interest in
crafting, art and community. The workshop aims to
provide a space for the sharing of skills and ideas and
an opportunity for participants to begin forming their
own craft collective.
Sidra Hawkins loves crafts and community organizing.
Co-sponsored by Langara College Continuing Studies and Village Vancouver. Offered as part of Langara's Summer School on Building Community.
