Event Description
Mix in flowers with edibles in a hanging basket, attract pollinators, and enjoy a pretty tasty summer. Learn how to make a wire hanging basket and plant it with veggies, flowers and herbs. One complete basket will be made in class, showing wire weaving, best soil mixes, planting techniques, spacing and appropriate plant choices. The finished basket will be available for purchase at end of class, and everyone will get some basket-appropriate seeds. Limited to 18 students.
Price: $42 (VanDusen members save 10%)
