A presentation by
Dr. Thierry Vrain, a retired soil biologist and genetic engineer who, after a 30-year career with Agriculture Canada, no longer supports GE technology and,

Dr. Shiv Chopra, a former Health Canada senior scientific advisor who blew the whistle on bovine growth hormone (rBGH), several additional hormones, antibiotics, and various other products endangering public health.

Part of a cross-Canada speaking tour, organized by Society for a GE Free BC and Greenpeace Vancouver Local Group.

If you can't attend this event, Dr's Vrain & Chopra will be speaking in Vancouver on Nov 21 and 23 as well. These are listed in VV events.

Interested in participating in a VV garden? We have 9 collaborative gardens and garden spaces in 5 neighbourhoods (Grandview Woodland, Kits, Strathcona, W. Point Grey, and the West End). New gardeners are welcome. 

For more information, contact us at gardening@villagevancouver.org. Gardening now in progress. New gardeners welcome (space allowing). Sign-up on the VRAC website for gardening at the Kitsilano Community Garden and at the Aberthau Community Garden.
