Learn how to take great close up pictures, set aperture and shutter speed and how to compose a great macro photo.
With the help of a macro camera lens, the centre of a flower becomes an otherworldly landscape, an insect transforms into a fearsome monster, and a leaf can reveal beautiful texture. Jenni will discuss how to take great close up pictures, setting aperture and shutter speed and how to compose a great macro photo. Practice course concepts in the Garden, then come back to the classroom for a feedback session. Dress for the weather, bring a camera, blank memory card and lunch. It is recommended that students have a DSLR camera and a lens with a low F-stop of at least f/2.8. Rain or shine – bring an umbrella if it rains.
