Environmental artist, Sharon Kallis, will show participants how gathering, sorting and identifying natural materials: eaves, petals, branches, etc. is an urban dweller's way of getting to see and know their own garden and landscape in a unique way. Sharon will demonstrate how to use green materials to create art works using various land skills including sewing, lashing and weaving and how the works come together like a quilt, with everyone's contributions becoming a piece of the whole.
