Come join us for a tour around Mount Pleasant of City Beet's front/side/backyard farms!
After finding their farm legs during an organic farm internship on Reroot Organic Farm in Harriston, Ontario, Ruth and Katie launched their first season of their peddle-powered operation in Vancouver. They run a CSA and grow on converted lawns in Riley Park/Mount Pleasant neighbourhoods.
6:00pm Meet at The Mighty Oak and tour sites in the 'hood by foot/bike
7:00pm Potluck picnic at Mount Pleasant Park at 16th and Ontario
