DESCRIPTION:In this Village Vancouver workshop with Dr. Yael Stav, we'
 ll review the opportunities for, and benefits of, growing food in vert
 ical gardens in an urban setting. We'll discuss the different systems 
 and technologies available for vertical gardening, and talk about the 
 principles of setting up a successful vertical food garden on fences, 
 walls, and balconies, including watering, weight, light and plant choi
 ce considerations. We'll have a community seed library there - pick up
  some free seeds for your garden, or swap or donate seeds\n\nWill be h
 osted at the Billy Bishop Legion Hall\n\nWestside Food Festival July 1
